Mullen Scales of Early Learning (MSEL)
The MSEL is a behavioral test administered by a local psychologist that measures five domains of development: fine motor, gross motor, expressive language, receptive language, and visual reception. The MSEL can be used to assess development in children from a few months of age up to 6 years of age.
Wechsler Preschool and Primary Scale of Intelligence (WPPSI)
The WPPSI is a behavioral test administered on older children by our local psychologist. Similar to the Mullen, this is a measure of cognitive development. The main subsets include verbal, performance, and full scale IQ.
Executive Functioning
Depending on the age of the child, psychologists may administer tabletop executive functioning tasks which test domains such as working memory, cognitive flexibility and inhibition.
